Cohort Stories: Meet Danielle

In recent years, my current role has shifted to one that is heavily focused on using technology to allow individuals with disabilities to access their environments. While technology has been incredibly useful in allowing many of these individuals to have more independence, it has also been frustrating many times. I want to help make technology work better for them. I hope to use these experiences to guide my development process and make software that works for individuals who use various methods to access their computers. I started learning coding in 2021 and then I was able to earn a spot in CodeSquad’s 2022 full-stack engineering boot camp. Following boot camp, I continued learning with Code the Dream during their fall 2022 class cohort by participating in their React class. Finally, I found Hack.Diversity.
