Meandering Paths Lead To Success

<p>Youtube offered me up the suggestion of David Epstein&rsquo;s&nbsp;<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BQ2_BwqcFsc" rel="noopener ugc nofollow" target="_blank">TEDx talk</a>&nbsp;this morning, and how apt it was. I am a career changer, and I, like many others like me that I&rsquo;ve met, have this notion in our heads that we&rsquo;re somehow behind because we came into our careers later. When I graduated from my fashion knitwear design degree, I was 22, and I had spent the last 8 years gearing myself for the creative industry.</p> <p>I didn&rsquo;t even like knitting! Sounds ridiculous, I know, but I loved the creativity and problem-solving that came with it. I was particularly good at draping and pattern cutting because I could see and visualise how all the puzzle pieces could fit together even before cutting out the shapes.
