The Montreal Massacre
<p>OnDecember 6, 1989, sometime after 4 pm, Marc Lepine entered Montreal’s Ecole Polytechnique with the intention of murdering every female that he deemed wronged him in some way.</p>
<p>Armed with a Ruger Mini-14 semi-automatic rifle that he purchased legally a month previous and a large hunting knife, Marc murdered 14 women before turning the gun on himself.</p>
<p>Growing up, Marc was a typical, quiet kid. His father was abusive, both mentally and physically, and he believed that women’s only use was to serve men. He discouraged tenderness between mother and child, believing that was spoiling the child. Seems to be checking off a lot of boxes for the “pre-serial killer checklist.”</p>
