Mariners Recall Outfielder Jonatan Clase from Triple-A Tacoma

<p>The 5-foot-9, switch-hitting outfielder is currently ranked as the Mariners 10th overall prospect by both&nbsp;<em>MLB Pipeline</em>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<em>Baseball America</em>. At 21 years, 328 days, Clase will be the youngest Mariners player to make his Major League debut since&nbsp;<strong>Julio Rodr&iacute;guez</strong>&nbsp;(21 years, 200 days on April 8, 2022 at Minnesota). He is also set to become the first Mariners player this season to make his Major League debut.</p> <p>Clase split the 2023 season between High-A Everett and Double-A Arkansas, combining to hit .242 (121x501) with 102 runs, 28 doubles, 8 triples, 20 home runs, 68 RBI, 79 stolen bases and 82 walks, getting on base at a .353 clip and slugging .449 (.802 OPS).
