<p>I have been revisiting Laurie Anderson’s<em> All the Things I Lost in the Flood </em>and John Cage's <em>A Mycological Foray</em>. I have found both these books to be inspiring reference points and help me to step out of my project, and consider new layouts, and the ‘experience of my outcome.’</p>

<p>I set up my mushroom experiment this week, and have started to see some mycelium growing on the cardboard and tea bags. At the moment I am recording using pictures, but am looking into if I can record sound data for this.</p>

<p>I have been doing some research into examples of ‘non-human’ and interactive drawing machines. I am considering how I can implement these ideas in my project to communicate themes of uncertainty, seen to unseen, and scale.</p>
