Dear America, your guns are killing us too, please get some gun control — Love, Canada

<p>On April 18&ndash;19th, 2020, Canada experienced the largest mass shooting in our recorded history- 22 were left dead after a man dressed as a police officer rampaged through rural communities outside Halifax, Nova Scotia. On May 4th, our Federal Government banned all assault-style rifles. However, this ban impacts guns that were legally procured. Most gun deaths in Canada can be tied to firearms lawfully purchased in the USA at pawn shops, gun shows and a variety of other places where an unstable person can get a no-questions-asked killing machine.
