Believe All Women — Unless They Are Jewish

<p>When the #MeToo movement began in 2017, a renewed hope and vigor swept the feminist movement. Longstanding stagnation in the advancement of women&rsquo;s rights was suddenly replaced by rays of hope in combating violence against women and femicide. There was a push for real accountability, change, and solidarity; a clarion call to believe all women &mdash; though in the last few weeks, we have seen where the statute of limitations lies in this call for sisterhood and camaraderie. Believe all women, unless they are Jews who deserved it.</p> <p>I have proudly considered myself a feminist for most of my adult life. I volunteered for two years at a women&rsquo;s domestic violence shelter, and I have learned about, witnessed, and personally experienced horrific realities pertaining to what it means to move through a patriarchal world as a woman or girl.
