Let go and Let God!

As a person who identifies himself as a doer, the philosophy of putting in relentless effort has been ingrained in my character since my upbringing on a cattle ranch in Colorado. The constant work ethic required on a ranch has become second nature to me, shaping my belief that success in both my pursuits as a professional musician and a freelance writer demands an extra layer of dedication. It’s not just about doing the work; it’s about putting in twice as much effort as the next person to carve out a living from the fields I’ve chosen.

The workhorse mentality that defines my approach to life has translated into a prolific professional life as a musician, recording artist, and author. I take immense pride in the body of work I have created. Yet, I recognize that the laborious phase of creation is only the beginning of the journey. I’ve come to understand the importance of stepping back and allowing the universe to play its part after the hard work is done. It’s a delicate balance between being a proactive advocate for one’s creations and trusting the cosmic forces to unfold the path ahead.
