The Day I Visited Rio de Janeiro Through the Lens of a Foreigner

<p>It was 2 am. We arrived in Rio on October 12th at dawn. We were tired. But excited for the days to come.</p> <p>After 4 days in Panama (I shared a few of my first impressions in&nbsp;<a href="https://medium.com/globetrotters/first-impressions-of-panama-me-encanta-todo-5c8aa98ccd46" rel="noopener">this article</a>), brushing up my Spanish and exploring new places, my feelings of going to Rio de Janeiro was a mixture of exploring a new Rio and &ldquo;going home&rdquo;.</p> <p>I haven&rsquo;t been here for 3 years.
