The Best Reason to Call for a Convention of The States is Legislative Usurpation

<p>Somebody really wants a Constitutional Convention under Article V of the United States Constitution. I can see why they want to do it. There is no clear definition or procedure for what it is, what it does, or what the rules are. That means no supervision.&nbsp;<a href="https://www.commoncause.org/our-work/constitution-courts-and-democracy-issues/article-v-convention/" rel="noopener ugc nofollow" target="_blank">This is really dangerous, and unwise</a>.</p> <p>The people who are making the most noise about it are deeply conservative members of the Republican Party who think they can do to America&nbsp;<a href="https://www.institutionalinvestor.com/article/b1c33fqdnhf21s/Eddie-Lampert-Shattered-Sears-Sullied-His-Reputation-and-Lost-Billions-of-Dollars-Or-Did-He" rel="noopener ugc nofollow" target="_blank">what Eddie Lampert did to Sears</a>.</p> <p>I first got wind of this movement a couple of weeks ago.
