Day 144: Beautiful Games Final (Emissions Framework, Export UV Layout from Blender, color it fast in GIMP)

Alright, the fun stuff.

I have a few things I can apply emissions to straight away. I have a main lamp hanging from the ceiling I thought about putting a sort of orb in then emitting from that, the light cover on the side wall, and the orb on the magic staff.

Let’s go with the light cover first.

Now, again I will be referencing my older stories for this but anytime we apply emissions, it’s always best to determine said area that will be emitting in the Blender app first. export that new map to photoshop, color said area to alpha and you have an emission map.

Let’s take this step by step:

Now to import the file into blender:

Learn More
