Law Enforcement and Veterans Call on Biden Administration and DEA to Reschedule Marijuana (and What That Would Mean for the Legal Cannabis Industry)
<p>We’ve come a long, long way from where we started, and yet, here we are in 2024 and marijuana is still listed as a Schedule I controlled substance under the Controlled Substance Act (CSA). Recently though, it seems that we may be closer than ever to seeing that change for the first time since the CSA was put in place in 1970.</p>
<p>To try and make sure the DEA and Biden Administration follow through, veterans are speaking out louder than ever. Even Law enforcement — who used to loudly <em>oppose</em> legalization — are calling on them to make this necessary change.</p>
