Laughter Yoga - Daily Wisdom

<p>LY Notes: 11th Dec 2023</p> <ol> <li>Why we are happy? We don&#39;t laugh because we are happy. We are happy because we laugh.</li> <li>We don&#39;t need anything from outside. We are happy inside.</li> <li>The art of laughing and the science of breathing. We laugh as an exercise. For no reason.</li> <li>We are developing the habit of laughing.</li> <li>When we breathe deeply, we send oxygen to every cell of our body. We keep ourselves healthy.</li> <li>What happens in LY? Reduced stress⁣ and tension. Lower blood pressure⁣. Improved immune system⁣. Increased oxygen. Improved mood and outlook on life⁣.</li> <li>The important part of LY is deep breathing. Deep breathing is about breathing out longer. About 1.5 L of stale air is in your lungs. Longer exhaling is the key.</li> <li>Laughter is beneficial only when you laugh out longer.</li> </ol> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>LY Notes: 9th Dec 2023</p> <ol> <li>Our bodies and minds are connected. Our&nbsp;breathing and our minds are connected. We change the way we breathe, we change the way we think.&nbsp;</li> <li>LY is a powerful antidote for negative emotions. How? Through catharsis. Through practice of diaphragmic breathing and laughing. How do we&nbsp;make sure that we don&#39;t fall into the rut again. By practicing LY everyday.&nbsp;</li> <li>No active muscles for exhalation. We use our diaphragm for exhalation. To force the residual air out. LY helps throw the residual air out by pushing the abdomen muscles when we laugh loud and long.</li> <li>Story of the dog Yama Guchi. A street dog that lives near the Doctor&#39;s house. It had a fractured leg. It taught the lesson of &#39;So What?&#39;</li> <li>What is creativity? Doing the same thing in a different way.
