Arcade Archives is out here doing great work when it comes to preserving classic arcade games for a new generation to enjoy. We’ve already seen what it’s done for the likes of Rolling Thunder 2, Growl and Sunsetriders, amongst countless others. And it still keeps going.
The company announced during a recent livestream for today’s release, Mad Shark, that it would have Konami’s Dark Adventure set to go next week, Thursday, August 17th. Like previous releases (save for any mega-license ones), it’s likely to go for $7.99. A reasonable value.
Never heard of Dark Adventure? Well, it’s one of those “lost” Konami releases that we thought would never resurface. It released in 1987, transporting an Indiana Jones-style character named Dr. Condor, along with a reporter named Labryna and an archaeologist named Zorlock, into a mysterious world with enemies that have to be destroyed.
