Kashmiri Pheran and a Khuda Dost Mout
<p>Circa 1988–89ish. My mother purchased a Pheran from J & K Handlooms Dev Corp shop called Poshish in Srinagar. It was readymade and a light grey one. Typically, Kashmiris would buy cloth, and much like other clothes, get the Pheran stitched. This was probably a first one, as it was off the shelf, so at that time maybe a bit special as well.</p>
<p>Kashmir has had it share of mystic men, I am sure a much larger share than other places. There are tales that have been heard and then there are personal experiences. Gulmarg was no different, it had its fair share of such men as well.</p>
