<p>I’ve been a Chicago White Sox fan since the third grade. They were not a good team at all but I personally couldn’t stand so much of Chicago’s dedication for the Cubs. Plus, I’m always a fan of the underdog. My summer camp would take us to White Sox games all the time and I had the time of my life. Seeing the White Sox sweep the Houston Astros in the 2005 World Series is a core memory that will never leave. If only I knew how bad it would get after that.</p>

<p>When Hawk Harrelson retired from announcing White Sox games, the worry was all the excitement (or what was left of it) would drain out and White Sox games would be shallow and boring. After all, they were not at all a good team when he retired.</p>
