Why do Hindus wear janeu?

<p>The Upanishads state that there are sixteen forms of&nbsp;<a href="https://www.learnreligions.com/what-are-samskaras-1770043" rel="noopener ugc nofollow" target="_blank"><em>samskara</em></a>.
