Jacksonville Shooter, Angry Young White Men, Gun Violence and the Ongoing Rabid Nature of Right Wing Propaganda!
<p>Over the past few days, as segments of the nation remembered the 60th anniversary of the 1963 March on Washington, we simultaneously witnessed another horrendous, senseless act of racially sadistic violence in Jacksonville, Florida. On August 27, the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office verified the identity of the man, 21-year-old Ryan Christopher Palmeter, who had carried out <a href="https://www.newsweek.com/several-people-gunned-down-florida-dollar-general-mass-shooting-mayor-1822697" rel="noopener ugc nofollow" target="_blank">the racist mass shooting in the city</a>.</p>
<p>Armed with an AR-15 and a handgun decorated with a swastika, Palmeter conducted the shooting at a Dollar General store in the New Town neighborhood of Jacksonville, initially opening fire on a woman sitting in her car before continuing the attack in the store.
