The Eternal Innocence Fallacy

Dr. Claudine Gay’s treatment as former President of Harvard, as many have noticed, is certainly an example of systemic racism. But it’s not just because of the mistreatment, abuse, and distortion of leadership intent and power of a competent woman of color. It’s systemic racism in that Dr. Gay is just a pawn in a much larger scheme. It’s a systemic, systematic, and strategic roll-back of the gains achieved since George-Floyd’s murder: one institution at a time. This Guardian article highlights how this was the intent of the activists who planned the attack as demonstrated by their own tweets in the prior weeks. As an example: “We must not stop until we have abolished DEI ideology from every institution in America.

Website
