Indigenous Voice in Education

<p>Indigenous people are the most underrepresented group in the United States and yet they are the only marginalized group who has dual citizenship of the U.S. and of their own tribe. Stereotypical forms of behaviors and attitudes tend to further marginalize Indigenous people, therefore highlighting the importance of their voice as a collective group within educational settings.</p> <p>In January 2020, an Indigenous woman began her graduate degree. During her first class in the program, she struggled with formulating her first research paper.
