Reigniting Your Faith in the Face of Hypocrisy and Religiosity
<p>“I had a blast, Mom!” My 10-year-old daughter told me with a radiant smile after coming home from a week away at summer camp.</p>
<p>After describing her week, the next words out of her mouth caught me off guard. “Can we go to church?” She asked me, eyes wide in anticipation.</p>
<p>I knew the camp that she went to with a friend was a Christian camp. But I was perplexed, to say the least. We weren’t a church family and didn’t talk much about God.</p>
<p>I was raised Catholic, so I had my first communion, went to Catechism (CCD), and was confirmed. I got my ticket punched and called it a day.</p>
