Daniel 7: Is the Son of Man Divine, Human, or Both?

<p>The &lsquo;son of man&rsquo; was the most common title used by Jesus about himself. Was Jesus emphasising he was an ordinary man? Was he claiming to be the Messiah? Or even divine?</p> <h2>Son of Man in the Hebrew Bible</h2> <p><em>Bar enosh&nbsp;</em>in Aramaic and&nbsp;<em>ben adam&nbsp;</em>in Hebrew<em>&nbsp;</em>are common terms in the Tanach (the &lsquo;Old Testament&rsquo;)<em>.&nbsp;</em>Both mean &lsquo;son of man&rsquo; or &lsquo;man&rsquo;.
