Hip Deep

Look, I know what the human skeleton looks like— all of you with the side eyes — so I know hip dips are normal. Just…mine were never so pronounced, to the point that I didn’t even know they existed. Discovering them felt like waking up with longer canines. While it’s normal to have longer canines (yeah, genetics can be wild), when it happens to you out of the blue, it’s going to send a shudder through you. Or elicit a purr, whatever floats your boat.

Of course, I’m not happy that I now have to watch out for those high-waisted jeans and, worse, form huggers. It’s weird, okay. Starting from having a bone-straight figure to holding down some meat on my thighs, now I’m as fit as a fiddle (pun intended).
