The making of Hindeara (part 1)

I have been contacted by Tom Delany from Global Dream to turn their paper base literacy material into an app which poor children from northern India can learn to read in Hindi. Global Dream provides training and literacy materials for 200 government schools, their work touches the lives of 10,000 students annually.

This is the first of a series of blog posts describing my thought process as I learn how to develop this app. It is pretty rough, but feel free to add constructive feedback. I’m currently consistently putting in an hour or two every workday before work. I work as a full stack developer for Dubber.

Website
