Review — Testament: The Order of High Human

Testament: The Order of High Human is a fairly ambitious game by a relatively new studio called Fairyship Games. Founded in 2017 by Moe and Joe Naderi, they only released one game prior to their latest release and this release was also this year as Shame Legacy was launched on May 30th. Their latest outing is a high-fantasy RPG incorporates Metroidvania elements and first person combat action. Let’s find out if this was a recipe for succes.

The Wonderful

For a game developed by a small team of 15 people, the graphics are pretty good. Especially if you play the game on a high end computer (Intel i7 13th generation, RTX 4080 in my case) you won’t be let down by the visuals.

There’s a descent level of detail to the environments and there’s often an element of mystery to the world. The detail to your character or other important characters in the game was at time also impressive. Because of this, it is fun exploring the world of Testament.

The price of the game is a plus, as the developers lowered the selling price just after its launch to €/$ 19,99, so that the game is more afforable to people.
