Heritage Consultants: Why do we do what we do?

Purcell Heritage Consultant, Rowenna Malone, gives a personal insight into her role. Firstly though, what is a Heritage Consultant and what do we do? A heritage consultant is a professional, usually with a background in history, history of art or archaeology, who provides an understanding of what is important about a historic place and advises on the conservation of or alteration to that place.
