Halloween and Guns

Halloween in Shibuya, a bustling district in Tokyo, is not only famous in Japan but also known around the world, attracting many foreigners.

I’ve never attended, nor have I ever desired to be there on that particular day. However, through annual news coverage, I’ve come to understand the chaotic scene that unfolds. Young people, mostly from the countryside or tourists, gather in the town, don costumes, indulge in drinks, and create a commotion without any clear purpose. The aftermath leaves a significant amount of litter in its wake, with some Shibuya residents volunteering to clean up the mess in the early morning hours of the next day.
