Stable Diffusion at the Large Hadron Collider

Thanks to image generators like MidJourney and DALL-E Stable diffusion has been the grabbing attention lately. While very impressive (and fun to play with), there’s seemingly little connection to the high-stakes world of particle physics at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC). Well, as it turns out, the development of these technologies have recently sparked an idea of mine for tackling a particularly challenging problem in experimental physics, one that traditional methods have struggled to address.
