Govar — a free online English speaking club
<p>Hello, everyone. My name is Denis, and I am the CEO, the founder, and the source of the idea behind the Govar app. I want to share information about our project, its origin, and the path we have taken.</p>
<p>Govar is an app for improving English conversation skills. You can find conversation partners from different parts of the world using it.</p>

<p>Here’s how it works: After installing the app, users choose their English proficiency level (or take a test to determine it) and join a group video call for conversation. Typically, there are 3–5 people in each room.</p>

<h1>The history of the idea</h1>
<p>How did the idea for Govar come about? In the middle of 2021, I often attended offline English conversation clubs in Minsk. They had a significant drawback — scheduling. Sometimes, there weren’t enough participants, and sometimes I couldn’t attend, so I practiced only once every three weeks. Plus, it took about an hour and a half to commute. If I lived in a smaller town, I probably wouldn’t even have had that opportunity.</p>
