Formerly homeless speakers decry Venezuelan ‘invasion’

<p>Two people who formerly experienced homelessness told the Denver City Council on Monday they are responding to the surge of migrants in the city at the expense of existing homeless services.</p> <p>Brandy Majors and Jesse Lashawn Parris both referenced the &ldquo;invasion&rdquo; by Venezuelan migrants. &ldquo;We have an all-out invasion going on,&rdquo; said Parris.</p> <p>Majors and homeless advocate Amy Beck commented on the council&rsquo;s decision last week to adopt a clunker ordinance.</p> <p><a href="https://medium.com/@davidheitz50/formerly-homeless-speakers-decry-venezuelan-invasion-dd69f432d750"><strong>Click Here</strong></a></p>
