Food Culture in the LA Hood

<p>Whenever there&rsquo;s a highlight of a local restaurant in LA, it&rsquo;s always an elegant, upscale location. Not that there&rsquo;s anything wrong with elegant or upscale, but to put it eloquently,&nbsp;<em>people wanna grub</em>! Nine times out of 10, this high-class establishment was recommended by either a TV show on which it was featured, our local news anchors (lookin&rsquo; at you, KTLA) or a social media influencer. And if you&rsquo;re like me and love to eat, there&rsquo;s a good chance that it may not be the best experience. The food may not be to your liking, it&rsquo;s expensive, and there is a strict dress code that one must adhere to.
