Betrayal at its worst for Flash and the Outsiders!

Unlike Firestorm where our hero doesn’t even remember the Manhunter in his life, the Flash encounters someone very different in his path, but first, he has to make his escape from Russia!

Art by Jackson Guice and Larry Mahlstedt. Owned by DC Comics and used for review purposes.

The book opens with a battle on the snowy planes between Flash and Red Trinity against Blue Trinity. The fight takes everyone into Sweden and out of Soviet coverage which allows the heroes to escape and return with Doctor Orloff to the United States. It also leaves Flash completely exhausted. As everyone else goes on to New York, he’s apparently flown to the Green Lantern Citadel in California where he wakes up with Black Canary looking over him.

We get an abbreviated synopsis of Millennium focused on Flash’s question about the Titans, but weirdly without stating that the Titan they seek is Terra. The segment is over as fast as it started and Flash heads back to his mansion.

He finds his father Rudolph West waiting for him. Rudolph reveals that he’s always been a Manhunter, first assigned to watch Barry years ago. He was activated now and already arranged a boat accident to eliminate Wally’s mother. This doesn't endear him to his son, but before anything can happen, Rudolph summons his ally: Blue Trinity.

Visit Now
