First year in Vancouver #1

The first moment I was shocked was when I went to Canada Service to get my SIN number. I thought the process would be similar with South Korea where I was from. On the first day I lined up, there were about 50 people in front of me at 2pm. I had to come back to my home after I found the speed of decreasing was 15 minutes per one person. On the next day, I spent 8 hours straight on the line ending with seeing close sign in front of my turn. Because I couldn’t wait another week for reservation with phone call, I woke up 5:30 AM and ran into the Canada Service at 6:00 AM which was 2.5 hours before its open. Already over 10 people were wating at the gate sitting on the folding chair.
