A first introduction to differentiation

The prerequisites for this article are almost non-existent, the only required knowledge assumed for the reader is basic high-school algebra and some basic trigonometry. That is, polynomial manipulations and some trigonometric identities such as sin² x + cos² x = 1. Now, a natural question arises, with respect to the curriculum, how far will this article take you? Of course, syllabus differs from school to school and university to university, but this article should contain enough information about differentiation to take you through all of high-school and first year of university. Not everything here is by all means simple, for an analytical approach is often taken, however intuitive explanations, often including diagrams will be presented. With this, we hope that the reader can enjoy what is presented in front of them

Visit Now
