We think we need to have the whole story in our heads before we can sit down and write it. We need it to be vivid. We need to know how events are going to unfold. But it’s when you start writing the lines that the others come. The other words will appear as if by magic. New ideas will germinate in your mind. Starting to write clears the fog of the story.
