The Extra Expat Diaries: Entry #2
<p>I went to London last week to attend a Halloween party with my partner. I wasn’t sure what to expect.</p>
<p>Would people dress up like they do in the U.S? Would kids go from house to house collecting candy while saying Trick or Treat in British accents?</p>
<p>I was surprised to see a lot of people dressed up in the streets of London, however, only the adults really. Hopping from pub to club as cats and witches.</p>
<p>After we went to the club, we joined the long line of patrons waiting under the famous Golden Arches for a cheeseburger. I love getting fast food in different countries. It is one of my favorite things to do. I ended up having a Philly Cheesesteak burger and a chicken burger. I think the Philly Cheesesteak would do well at the McDonald’s in the U.S.A. as well.</p>
