The Theme of Existentialism in ‘Barbie’ Movie

<p>That&rsquo;s just one of the themes tackled by Greta Gerwig&rsquo;s live-action &lsquo;Barbie&rsquo; movie starring Margot Robbie, Ryan Gosling, America Ferrera, Will Ferrell, Kate McKinnon among other talented artists.</p> <p>And though the children had fun with the singing, dancing and all the pink and glitter, it is the adults who left the theatre with something to ponder upon.</p> <p>The movie begins in the most &lsquo;Barbie-y&rsquo; way possible, introducing the audience to the dreamland called &lsquo;Barbieland&rsquo; where everything is pink (even the roads!) and shiny and the &lsquo;Stereotypical Barbie&rsquo; i.e Margot Robbie greets the other Barbies and Kens and enjoys a regular fun day.
