Amsterdam — my favorite European city… so far

Europe is known for its close proximity between countries, and I got to experience what that meant for the first time when I took the train from London to Amsterdam, which was about a four-hour train ride. In some states in the US, you can’t even go from one end of the state to the other end in four hours. However, we were going to go through France and Belgium to get to Amsterdam in four hours. The international train station in London was packed with skiers and snowboarders going to France. My friend Ibby and I were curious about the crowd, so we asked one of them, and they told us how France had a decent amount of snow for the first time in the year, which meant that the French Alps had excellent conditions for skiing and snowboarding, which made sense for the crowd. This spontaneity left me in awe, realizing how swiftly one could traverse through borders at any moment.

Visit Now
