English Vocabulary: Terms & Expressions for being Lazy
<p>The adjective “<strong><em>idle”</em></strong> can be used for a person who we think is lazy and doesn’t want to do any work, or be productive.</p>
<p>If you think someone is extremely lazy, you can also say they’re “<strong><em>bone idle”</em></strong>, which has a stronger meaning.</p>
<p><em>She’s </em><strong><em>bone idle</em></strong><em>. There’s a huge pile of work to be done, but she just sits on her phone all day.</em></p>
<p>The noun form is “<strong><em>idleness”</em></strong>, which isn’t as common as <strong><em>idle</em></strong>.</p>
