Guide to Action on How to Improve English Pronunciation (Part 1)

There are many variants of English pronunciation: Canadian, Australian, Mid-Atlantic, etc. However, the most popular are British and American English. The articulation in these two varieties of the same language is quite different. So it makes sense to stick to one type. How to make a choice? Listen to the articulation of native speakers on YouTube and decide which option sounds better to you.

2. Analyze your speech

Select some audio or video with the text of the recording. Listen to how a native speaker pronounces it. Then read the text yourself and record it on a voice recorder. Listen to your voice and compare it with the speech of a native speaker, and determine which sounds you are articulating incorrectly. Then work on pronouncing these sounds.
