“She — Cession:” Housing & Employment Crisis

I was re — housed with a different person who was in recovery. She seemed legit by virtue of a background check…that is until my room was raided for my clothes, my tax return, lock out of my Venmo and being blamed for a wine bottle placed by someone else on my refrigerator shelf…a new “housemate” moved into another room there…he did not think it was fair the shared bathroom also had a shared toilet paper cost…he therefore had his BM then used the shared shower as a bidet…poop spots were all over the shower curtain…I did not notice until the hot water made the shower smell like poop! Ewwww! I replaced that shower curtain several times…when that man decided to get rude and aggressive, I lodged a complaint with the landlord….somehow I was at fault for his disgusting behavior! It was agreed I would move out…after I had a place then she said she was keeping half my rent because “she did not want to be out a full month’s rent.” I paid three months rent in advance for my new room rental — that was the type of housing in my budget — and I barely got one month from the agreement and then only because I said no, I will go until the first of the month……So one month for three month’s rent…she tried, post agreement, to leave a lease “for me to sign” on the day I moved out..she kept $1600 of my money because “I have to make money somehow!”

Learn More
