The Real-world Performance of a Plug-in Hybrid in Electric Mode

Electric vehicles (EV) are designed to be as comparable to their traditional gas-powered counterparts as possible. However, in terms of energy usage and efficiencies, most of the standards break down or are challenging to interpret. This article is part of an ongoing series where I examine EV behavior.
