Dump the Bullshit of Positive-Vibes-Only

The image above is a screenshot today of a wildfire smoke forecast website based in Canada. The colours correspond to the thickness and particulate matter in the smoke. Numbers refer to the amount of forest fires burning. This individual suggested folks should make sure to only look for ‘good vibes’ on social media.

“You are what you read” or some bullshit to that effect. They shared they don’t follow the news, are not interested in politics, and simply unfollow anyone who posts something negative or political. (In other posts, they regularly share how many millions they’ve made from their social media followers.)

It tweaked my irritation — especially as I was looking out the window to this for the third day in a row (the L-hand image) and our second stint of this, over the past month. The R-hand image is a normal day of the same view. (Yes, that’s the sun, that orange orb on the left).
