How Close Are We to Full Dive VR?

Full Dive Virtual Reality is an interesting topic that is most likely going to play some sort of role in the near future. This technology has the potential to not only revolutionize the way we play video games and VR, but also conquer the human limitations that we have on Earth. What’s even better, however, is that this technology will likely one day be open to a vast majority of people, just as Xboxes or PlayStations are today.

What This Future Would Look Like

Photo by Drew Beamer on Unsplash

Think about the movie Ready Player One. The main character puts on a VR headset and is immersed in a whole different world. A world beyond our imagination, in which he can feel, realistically interact with, and move with freedom.

This is essentially what “Full Dive” virtual reality would look like. Obviously, this technology isn’t anywhere close to being supplied to a mass market, but the whole idea is opening up possibilities for the future. Imagine if we could have a different world surround us every time we put a different program into the gaming console. Imagine if there was software that enabled us to create our own immersive VR world.
