<p>I grew up with ADHD….but I never knew it. Not until last year. You’d think after <strong>29 years</strong> at least <em>one </em>therapist would have picked up on it. Or an educator. But the misogyny runs deep in the world of ADHD.</p>
<p>It’s funny. The moment I was first diagnosed, my entire life started making so much sense. My battles with perfectionism, my HSP, my extreme overactive daydreaming, my mastery of procrastination… Honestly, I’m surprised no one caught it when I was a kid!</p>
<p>But my story isn’t unusual. All you have to do is search ADHD in women and you’ll see stories from thousands of women, just like me, who were let down by the education and mental health system and are only now getting the support they need!</p>
