Having worked as a data solution architect with UK government departments over the years, one of the challenges that frequently cropped up was how to securely share data between departments. Of course you can use the open source version if you&rsquo;re not using Databricks, anyone can just download the software and use it. It&rsquo;s not as simple as using Databricks, but it is an alternative.
