<p>There are tons of improvement gurus on the internet but I am not one of those. I am a nerd, a geek and a person who wants to improve. I believe in numbers, in mathematics which is universal after all. Mathematics is universal and so are its principles and concepts. But we will be focusing on Stats. Statistics.</p>
<p>All of our decisions work on stats, probability. Stats dictate a lot of our decision making process without us noticing and most definitely in the buying of products. Remember that toothpaste you bought? Take a look if it says ‘Recommended by 9 out of 10 dentists’. What is that? A stat. A stat that even though we might not acknowledge it consciously. We as humans believe in stats much more than we think. Numbers give credibility to everything that we say. If we have justifiable numbers, most people will believe almost everything we say. It sits in the back of our mind as we are making our choices. That is how important stats are. It’s like an invisible hand guiding the world in its own way.</p>
