I had never seen him like that in my whole life, yet he apparently broke his neck when he was a teenager. As we get older, our body really tells us off. Every day, mine gives me the middle finger and now I have seen life kick my dad in the ass. It makes him sick when he sleeps wrong, falls asleep with his head leaning on his hand in the chair or he doesn’t have the right pillow fold. The guy is dying when he wakes up. The few times that I have walked into his house and seen him dying was frightening. A man who is always there for you, and you have to see him like that.
