Visionary’s Conundrums

My distraught friends cried out-loud to me, ‘Artificial Intelligence is replacing artists — A-I is replacing artists of all kinds! A-I is replacing art,’’

Absurdly, I find it funny that my so-called friends could just doomed my artistic future, and all artists of any kind with a simple assumption! Today’s tech has not yet reached to the levels of what we know to be science fiction. But some of us already believe it to be so, sadly. Imaginations running amok???

‘No, it’s not,’ I calmly replied.

I didn’t even bother to explain myself to the prevailing cries that I left behind. They thought I was in denial. Confidently, I know AI can not replace our work unless we, individually allow that to happen. The most treasured art in the world are not cookie-cut made. I don’t care if they made a 3D printer to do such things. The task simply can’t be done for lots of reasons. Ergo, if everyone is different, had been taught, practiced and honed their skill-set differently how would it be possible for an AI to replicate our many flaws of our journey that we endured which make our work shine? No AI could make the award-winning kind of art that I make.

To put it simply, true art is defined by the flawed hand.
