How To Use A 3-Tiered “Action Plan” To Have A Consistently Better Life

<p>These are the words that I try and live my life enacting on a regular basis. It doesn&rsquo;t always go off without a hitch, but&nbsp;<strong>having them as a touchstone helps me spend as much time as possible as a joyful, fulfilled person</strong>&nbsp;doing<em>&nbsp;what I&rsquo;m called to do</em>&nbsp;in this life.</p> <p>Oftentimes, we as imperfect little human beings get stuck.</p> <blockquote> <p>&ldquo;Plans are of little importance, but planning is essential.&rdquo;&nbsp;<em>― Winston Churchill, former British Prime Minister</em></p> </blockquote> <p>We get caught in a rut of dwelling on our problems, living an unexamined life, or simply not knowing what to do next because we don&rsquo;t have the necessary perspective to do what we need to do.</p> <h2>The solution I&rsquo;d present to you is&nbsp;<strong>an action plan.</strong></h2> <p>I first came across<strong>&nbsp;&ldquo;action plans&rdquo;&nbsp;</strong>in a sophomore-year Honors research seminar where my professor shared the action plans that she uses with students who have asthma.</p> <p>These action plans are given to students with the intent of lowering levels of hospitalization and improving the quality of life for children with these conditions.
